Kuta Beach (the white sandy beach) 

The most famous beach in Bali. Tourists who holiday in Bali will never forget to visit Kuta beach, especially at sunset. Kuta beach is one place in Bali to see the panoramic sunsets than Uluwatu, Tanah Lot or Jimbaran beach. We can imagine every day, especially in the evening to Kuta beach will be filled with domestic and foreign tourists, waiting for sunset, swimming, or just walk along the beach. What makes this beach is also famous for its waves high enough for water sports especially surfing (surfing). No wonder that along the coast we can easily find a rented surfboard. You want to try? 

Legian and Seminyak beach (white sand beaches) 

Located on the north coast of Kuta, the beach provides the same sense of Kuta beach. It's just because of its location some distance from the center of Kuta, Legian beach visitors and not as much in Seminyak Kuta beach. But there is nothing wrong if you like the place that is not too crowded, this beach is the right choice to just sit around enjoying the evening atmosphere of Legian and Seminyak beach. 

Jimbaran beach

Beautiful beach with views that are quite different to Kuta beach, Legian or Seminyak unless panoramic setting sun. Visible in the distance many traditional boats were catching fish and there is also a traditional boat rented by tourists who surf because the waves ideal for surfing is located some distance away, not on the beach like Kuta beach. At the northern end of Jimbaran beach there is a fish market that sells various types of fresh fish. Jimbaran beach is also very famous for its restaurant with a seafood special menu. There are about 24 restaurants on Jimbaran beach that never lonely with visitors who want to enjoy a seafood meal and a beautiful beach panorama. 

Beach Uluwatu, Dreamland and Padang-padang (white sandy beach)

Barong


Barong is a character in the mythology of Bali. He is the king of the spirits, leader of a good host, and the enemy Rangda in the tradition of Balinese mythology. Banas Pati Rajah is the fourth "brother" or spirit child who accompanies a child throughout life. Banas Pati Rajah is the spirit that moves Barong. A protector spirit, he often represented by a lion, and traditional performances of the struggle against Rangda popular parts of Balinese culture. 

Barong lion is one of five traditional Barong. In Bali each region of the island have their own protective spirit for forest and land. Each Barong for each region is modeled after a different animal. There are wild boar, tiger, dragon (or serpent) and the traditional lion. Lions are popular because they come from areas where Ubud Gianyar (home visits tourist ritual) is located. In calonarong, dance dramas, where the Barong appears, respond Barong Rangda using magic to control and kill her to restore the balance.

Jalak Bali

Jalak Bali or the scientific name Leucopsar rothschildi is a kind of babbler medium-sized bird, with approximately 25cm long, from the tribe Sturnidae. Jalak Bali has special characteristics, among them a white feather in the whole body except the tip of the tail and black wings. Jalak Bali has cheeks that are not covered in fur, bright blue and legs grayish. Birds of male and female alike. 

Endemic to Indonesia,
Jalak Bali is found in the woods just west of the island of Bali. This bird is also the only endemic species of Bali, which in 1991 was named the provincial fauna symbol of Bali. The existence of endemic animals are protected by law. 


Jalak Bali was first discovered in 1910. Scientific Names Jalak Bali named after the British animal expert, Walter Rothschild, who was the first to describe this species into the world of knowledge in 1912. 

Due to the beautiful appearance and elegant,
Jalak Bali is one of the most sought after birds by the collector and keeper of birds. Catching wild, loss of forest habitat, and areas where these birds is very limited in Jalak Bali causing rapid population shrinking and in danger of extinction within a short time. To prevent this to happen, most zoos around the world run Bali Starling breeding program. 

Jalak Bali evaluated as critical in the IUCN Red List and listed in CITES Appendix I.

Babi Guling Bali


If during the day "hunting" Balinese cuisine be it for Chop, or chicken betutu Lawar very easy. Besakih Temple


The Mother Temple of Besakih, or Pura Besakih, in the village of Besakih on the slopes of Mount Agung in eastern Bali, is the most important temple of Agama Hindu Dharma in Bali, Indonesia and one of a series of Balinese temples.

The temple probably dates to the fourteenth century. It was built on the south slopes of Mount Agung, the principle volcano of Bali. The temple is actually a complex made up of twenty-two temples that sit on parallel ridges. It has stepped terraces and flights of stairs which ascend to a number of courtyards and brick gateways that lead up to the main spired meru structure, which is called Pura Penataran Agung.
